Robert Colby Oberst's Obituary
Robert Colby Oberst, 52, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was former Body Talk Practitioner of Connections of Body & Mind in Dallas, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Scott Sewell officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 12-12:45 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Long Oberst of Dyersburg; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Garrett and fiancé, Adam Edwards of Dyersburg; a stepson, Adam Ford and fiancée, Brandy Pierce of Atoka; a sister, Anne Schanz and husband, Tom, of Dallas, Texas; a brother Dean Oberst of Fort Worth, Texas; four nieces, Marion Brown of Cabot, Ark., Amelia Billings and Heather Oberst, both of Fort Worth, Texas and Kana Kiesal of Burlison, Texas; and 10 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne and Tom Oberst II; and a brother, Tom Christian Oberst III.
Pallbearers will be Adam Ford, Adam Edwards, Justin Atchison, Steve Hicks and William Capps.
