Robert Gaylon McLean, 81, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at AHC Dyersburg.

Gaylon was born on November 1, 1939, in Obion, TN, to the late, Robert and Beatrice Woods McLean. He was a retired truck driver and attended the Junction Church of God. Gaylon was an avid hunter and enjoyed listening to country music.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at New Haven Cemetery with Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Eugene McLean and wife, Marilyn, of Dyersburg, TN; three daughters, Penny Cherry and husband, Fred, Gloria Harrington and Kathy Tidwell and husband, Joe, all of Dyersburg, TN; eight grandchildren, Austin Tidwell, Brittany Tidwell, Scott Hollingsworth, Chad Hollingsworth, Derek Harrington, Amber Davis, Leah Cherry and Lara Beth Cherry; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gaylon was preceded in death by his wives, Dianne McLean and Mary Alice Fowler McLean; and two brothers, Wayne McLean and James McLean.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
