Mr. Robert Stephen "Steve" Fowlkes, of Newbern, passed away September 5, 2025 at his home.  Steve was born October 12,1959 in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Robert Arch Fowlkes and Mildred Swims Fowlkes.  He was a production employee of Colonial Rubberworks in Dyersburg and was a life-long Tennessee Volunteer fan.  He enjoyed horses and all types of show cars in his younger years.

Steve is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Arch Fowlkes III.

Cremation services are in care of Dyersburg Funeral Home and a family gathering to celebrate the life of Steve Fowlkes will be held at a later time.
