Robert David Fortner's Obituary
Robert David Fortner, 66, of Finley, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
He was a retired carpenter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Gayle Fortner of Finley; three daughters, Debra Ann Hutcherson and husband, Major, of Ashland City, Angela Kay Forsythe and husband, Keith, and Jennifer Lynn Asher and husband Mark, all of Finley; a sister, Patsy Diane Upchurch of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Kent Forsythe, Harold Noel, Robert Noel, Nickie Noel and Brandon Asher; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Lois Lee Fortner; and a brother, Dan Fortner.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Summers, Davie Parrish, Aubrey Leake, George "Pete" Hollingsworth, Joe Dodd and Ray Sartain.
