Mr. Robert Fazekas, of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday September 12, 2020, at Harborview Healthcare.  He was born May 15, 1938 in Lake Station, Indiana to William and Mary Fazekas.  He was a retired employee of the Dyersburg City School System, a member of Phillips Street Church of God and loved spending time fishing on Reelfoot Lake.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Wanda Fazekas and a son, William Pankey and wife, Shelia, of Dyersburg, a daughter, Kathy Lozier and husband, Jim,  of Louisville, TN, a brother, Freddie Fazekas of Lake Station, IN, a sister, Sandra Woodard of Pinson, AL, four grandchildren, Nathaniel Lozier, Elizabeth Terry, Melissa Williams and Noah Pankey and eight great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Fazekas and three brothers, Bill, Richard and Louis Fazekas.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday Sept. 13, 2020 at Dyesburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 in the Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, conducted by Bro. Robert Davis, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family request that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
