Robert "Bob" Elmo Newhouse, 82, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence.

Bob was born on August 13, 1937, in Newbern, TN, to the late Robert L. and Hallie Williford Newhouse. He was a retired tire builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. William Norman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Newhouse Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Nadine Newhouse of Dyersburg ,TN; a daughter, Patsy Winstead of Newbern, TN; two sons, James Michael Newhouse (Millie) of Dresden, TN and Jeffery Lynn Newhouse of Houston, TX; three brothers, Ronnie Newhouse of Dyersburg, TN, Donnie Newhouse of Shreveport, LA and Jack Newhouse of Morgan City, LA; a sister, Tommie Ruth Smith of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Kim Sipes (Chad), Amanda Vaden (Daniel), Jeremy Winstead, Josh Winstead, Willow Bynum and Erica Smith (Zach); and seven great-grandchildren, Cameron Luckett, Riley Sipes, Gavin Sipes, Mackenzie Vaden, Sophie Vaden, Avery Smith and Lincoln Smith.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his three sisters, Marie Beard, Dorothy Wright and Virginia Brann; two brothers, Gary Lynn Newhouse and Paul Wayne Newhouse; and a great-grandson, Willie Jaye Winstead.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Winstead, Josh Winstead, Cameron Billman, Terry Sanders, Daniel Baden and Chad Sipes. Honorary pallbearer will be Gavin Sipes.
