Robert Ryan Boyd, 31, of Tiptonville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was an employee at Boyette's Dining Room and a member of First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville. He was an avid hunter, a sports enthusiast, and a friend to all.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Interment will be in Lake Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 Sunday at First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Jan Boyd of Tiptonville; his grandmother, Mary Frances Richardson of Tiptonville; his aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Fran Hearn of Tiptonville; his uncle, Melton Boyd of Germantown; his aunt and uncle, Larry and Wendy Boyd of Germantown; and cousins, Chad Hearn, and wife Ginger; Jeremy Hearn, and wife Amanda; Benjamin Boyd; Alexis Boyd; Kendall Boyd; Mike Boyd; Paul Boyd; Sam Boyd; Mary Ava Hearn; Mia Claire Hearn; and Jack Hearn.

Pallbearers will be Reid Yates, Scott Riley, Nathan Moore, Brian Byrd, Rodney Speed, Jacob McBride, Cornelius Hughes, Cliff Berry, Ron Dyer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Wayne McBride, Ray Swift, and Roland Pope.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church of Tiptonville or Crockett Chapel United Methodist Church.
