Robert L. "Bob" Hayes' Obituary
Robert L. "Bob" Hayes, 82, of Pinson, formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired employee with the City of Jackson Waste Management and a member of First Baptist Church in Pinson. He was a Mason, a Shriner, an U.S. Army Veteran and had served in the Tennessee National Guard.
Graveside services will be at 12 noon Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn King officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 10-11:45 a.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Hayes Tharp and husband, George Ed, of Conroe, TX; a son, Robert Anthony "Tony" Hayes of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Tharp and Lindsey Hayes; his ex-wife, Dorothy Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Dyer County Community Cancer Fund.
