Robert Bahrns, 76, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Highlands of Dyersburg Health & Rehab.
He was a retired prep manager for World Color Press in Mt. Vernon, IL and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Anthony Hertel officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Bahrns of Dyersburg; a daughter, Sharon Weichlein and husband, Mark, of Dyersburg; two sons, Robert "Bobby" Bahrns and fiancé, Stephanie Campbell, and Jeff Bahrns, all of Pendleton, OR; three sisters, Norma Spence of Waverly, Betty Smith of Louisville, IL and Rosemary Gray and husband, David, of O'Fallon, IL; a brother, Richard "Rick" Bahrns and wife, Jane, of Flora, IL; five grandchildren, Anthony Hertel and wife, Jeanna, of Dyersburg, Whitney Bahrns and Britney Bahrns, both of Pendleton, OR, Amber Hankins and husband, Brian, of Finley, and Kyle Shook, of Dyersburg; and five great-grandchildren, Xavier Hertel, Xander Hertel, Adam Shook, Colton Hankins and Kailee Hankins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Malinda Miller Bahrns; and two brothers, Ralph Bahrns and Dale Bahrns.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Highlands of Dyersburg Activity Fund.
