Ricky Allen Sweat's Obituary
Ricky Allen Sweat, 55, born and raised in Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at his residence.
Born to his parents, Earl and Hazel Sweat, he was an employee at Dyersburg Fabrics and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Norton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Sweat of Dyersburg; two daughters, Heather Sweat and Kelly Swain, both of Dyersburg; two sons, Shawn Ables and Jason Sweat, both of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren; a sister, Paula Hatch of Dyersburg; two brothers, Bill Sweat of Alaska and Terry Sweat of Dyersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Hazel Sweat; a sister, Marie Purvis; and two brothers, Robert Earl Sweat and Bobby Sweat.
Pallbearers will be Brian E. Hatch, Brian Nelson, Ronnie Robinson, Ricky Hatch, Bobby Barber and John Ratliff. Honorary pallbearer will be Paula Hatch.
