Ricky Lynn Kirk, 63, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at his residence.

Ricky was born on August 7, 1959 to the late O'Neal and Louise Howell Kirk. He was a deckhand on a riverboat and enjoyed working on old cars and motors. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed being outside. He loved riding around in his 1994 F150 and being around his family.

Cremation services for Ricky Kirk are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Kirk of Ridgely, TN; a daughter, Amanda Kirk (Jamie Pugh) of Tiptonville, TN; a step-son, Brandon Mathina (Ashley Hill) of Ridgely, TN; three brothers, Jimmy Lee Hurst of Tiptonville, TN, Richard Hurst of Washington, DC and Jody Hurst of Tiptonville, TN;; three sisters, Brenda Childress of Newbern, TN, Tina Readenour of Tiptonville, TN and Debroa Dunn of Ridgely, TN; eight grandchildren, Rhiannon Hamlin, Cheyenne Beal, Coby Mathina, Carson Mathina, Levi Mathina, Jayden Hill, Ciara Hill and Tyler Hill; one great-grandchild, Greysen Hamlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by a daughter, Alechia Kirk; and a brother, O'Neal Kirk, Jr.
