Richard Clancy, Sr., 79, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

He was born July 17, 1940 to the late Clyde and Sarah Clancy. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Richard "Richie" Clancy, Jr. and daughters, Christy Hays and Susie Burns (Randy), his sisters Patsy Massie and Tommy Davis and his grandchildren, Catherine & Maghen Clancy and Joey & Laura Nance and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Clancy, his parents, and a sister, Peggy Hambrick.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020 at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, conducted by Rev. Clayton Mahan. The family ask that friends gather at the cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Keith Seaton, Roy Patterson, Benny Long, Bobby Hutchison and Rodney Marvin.
