Raymon Perry Baker, 78, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was retired as a butcher for Kroger Co., a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Dyersburg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Rashell officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lawana Hubble Baker; a son, Dennis Ray Baker Sr. and wife, Patricia Jeanes Baker, of Arlington, Tenn.; a brother, Joe Baker and wife, Birdie, of Dyersburg; a sister, Juanita Gibson and husband, Jerry, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Dennis Ray Baker Jr. and wife, Andria, and Jeffrey Allen Baker and wife, Kelli, all of Arlington; three great-grandchildren, Jessica Baker, Grace Baker and Taylor Baker, all of Arlington; and a special niece, Karen Hubble Ham of Norwood, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Baker and Pearl Mooney Baker; and a brother, Jimmy Lee Baker.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Busby, O'Neal Hardy, Ronnie Jeanes, Larry Joe Baker, James Pennock and Donald Lummus. Honorary pallbearer will be Cecil Viar.
