Penny Sue Bratton, 67, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Penny was born on July 19, 1954, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, Melvin and Elizabeth Harrison King. She was retired from the State of Tennessee and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with Rev. John Troutman officiating. The Bratton Family will receive visitors starting at 3 p.m. until service time at the church. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Bratton of Tiptonville, TN; a daughter, Bethany Bratton York and husband, Royce, of Ridgely, TN; a son, Jeffery Blake Bratton of Tiptonville, TN; two sisters, Peggy Norris of Tiptonville, TN and Carolyn Kimbrell of Dyersburg, TN; and five grandchildren, Jayden Watts, Blair Elizabeth Watts, Hudson King Watts, Brayden York and Emma York.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Haynes.
