Peggy Sue Wright Bateman's Obituary
Peggy Sue Wright Bateman, 78, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Volunteer Baptist Church. Ms. Bateman was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Southside Baptist Church with Bro. Loren Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mitzi Mitchem and Melissa Rogers and husband, Tracy, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Pat Baker of Mississippi; and four grandchildren, Cody Simmons, Scotty Rogers, Brandon Rogers and Johnny Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Boyd Bateman; her parents, Wade and Pauline Dyer Wright; and a brother, Paul Wright.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Bateman, Cody Simmons, Scotty Rogers, Mike Milner, Brandon Rogers and Tracy Rogers.
