Peggy Jean Stout, 82, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Union City.

Peggy was born on November 22, 1939, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, George and Louise Rudicil Fox. She was a homemaker and was a member of Phillipy Baptist Church. Peggy was very active in the Senior Citizens Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with Rev. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Gunn of Humboldt, TN; two sons, Allen Harper of Tiptonville, TN and Lannie Harper of Aberdeen, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stout; and a daughter, Inniata Moore.

Pallbearers will be Coby Myhand, Christopher Myhand, Rustin Myhand and Michael Stringer.
