Mrs. Peggy Goodman Smith, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely.

She was born May 9, 1937 to the late Grover & Irene Goodman as the third of 12 brothers & sisters. She was a dedicated homemaker that loved church activities as well as Bingo and Gospel Singing at Signature Healthcare. She was blessed with a "Green Thumb", able to grow just about anything, especially roses and flowers.

She is survived by her son, Jeff W. Smith and Linda K. Hime; and a special granddaughter, Misty Montgomery & husband, Bryant. She is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers & sisters.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel with funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery.
