Peggy Ann Rodriquez, 77, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN, to the late Horace & Ernie Staggs. Through the years, Peggy worked for Wright Mat Manufacturing and in sales at the Freds store in Tiptonville. She is lovingly remembered for her hard work and dedication to her family. She enjoyed being self-sufficient, doing her own lawn care, gardening and home care. She was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church and her strong faith guided everything she did, including praying Psalm 91 over her family every night, all by name.

Peggy is survived by her son, Jerry Rodriquez and wife, Becky, of Tiptonville, TN; two grandsons, Cody Rodriquez and wife, Jenny Lynn, and Kyle Rodriquez and wife, Nicole; three brothers, Elmer Staggs and wife, Brenda, Bobby Staggs and wife, Pam, and Billy Staggs; and was greatly loved as "Mamaw" by her great-grandchildren, Gabby Rodriquez, Colton Rodriquez and Oaklynn Pearl Rodriquez, Aidan Pruitt, Lynnlee Smith and Luke Smith.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie Rodriquez, Jr.; a brother, Dee Staggs; and a sister, Caroline "CaraLou" Turner.

Funeral services will be held at Wynnburg Baptist Church on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2 p.m. conducted by Bro. John Poore and Bro. Archie Larry. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Joseph Gooch, James Wiggins, George Norris, Johnny Adcock, Jerry Hart and Todd Rushing will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
