Peggy Juanita Pickens, 81, of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at White County Medical Center in Searcy, AR.

She was a homemaker and a member of Gruetli-Laager, TN Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Luke Willard officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Family members and friends are asked to gather at Dyersburg Funeral Home at 1 p.m.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Andrew Lewis Pickens, Sr. of Jackson; three sons, Andrew Lewis Pickens, Jr. and wife, Marcia, of Nashville, Jerry Wayne Pickens of Dyersburg and Richard Lloyd Pickens and wife, Kathy, of Harrison; four brothers, Billy Joe Davis of Heber Springs, AR, Terry Lewis Davis and Samuel Stephen Davis, both of Judsonia, AR and David Lloyd Davis of Condon, MT; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Keen Davis; a sister, Barbara Jean Pickens; and a brother, Teddy Harvard Davis.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
