Peggy Joyce Halliburton, affectionately known as Nanny, passed away peacefully at her residence in Dyersburg, TN, on November 29, 2025, at the age of 90.

Born on November 26, 1935, in Trenton, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Tulis and Alta Fowler Moore. Peggy was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a cherished member of the Finley Baptist Church, where she enjoyed contributing to the kitchen committee. Peggy was known for her love of shopping trips with friends, her passion for gardening, solving puzzles, and watching old Hallmark movies. Her warm and loving nature touched everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Forrest Hill South Cemetery in Memphis, TN with Bro. Trevor Sewell officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Finley Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two sons, Charles Halliburton, Jr. of Finley, TN and Scott Halliburton of Horn Lake, MS; a daughter, Joycelynn Faucher of olive Branch, MS; eighteen grandchildren, Lori Denman, Chuck Halliburton, Alisha Wilson, Stephen Halliburton, Krista Pope, Sarah Mullins, Rachel Lemonis, Julie Lane, Margaret Whittington, Cody Halliburton, Wyatt Halliburton, Will Halliburton,  A.J. Halliburton, Mark Faucher, Stephanie Utley, Tracie Blackstock, Haley Faucher and Bethani Ragan; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Isacc Charles Halliburton, Sr.; a son, David Halliburton; and two grandchildren, Joey Faucher and Sammuel Denman.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
