Peggy Ruth Golden, 95, of Greenback, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her residence.

Peggy was born on May 24, 1927, in Fowlkes, TN, to the late Roscoe and Bertha Mae Simpson White. She worked for Dyer Drug Store for many years and was also a homemaker. Peggy's home was in Dyersburg but had been living in Knoxville for the last 15 years so she could be closer with her family. She was a member of Grace Seventh Day Adventist Church in Knoxville.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Harold Roddy officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Phyllis Donaldson of Greenback, TN and Paula Morris of Lenoir City, TN; one sister, Mary Jo Moss of Dyersburg, TN; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe White; and five sisters, Beatrice Criswell, Zelda Seratt, Lorell Archer, June Basham and Jean Blackburn.

Pallbearers will be John Donaldson, Chase Mogridge, Frank Harper, Scott Knight and Paul Moss.
