Peggy Joyce Corum Grogan, 68, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a mother, grandmother and devout Christian. She was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Fellowship. She was the former President of WMU and a Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville. She was a former Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Abundant Life Fellowship Church with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include her four daughters, Robin Lynn Waterbury of Longmont, CO., Rhonda Kay Beasley and Donna Marie Crocker and husband, Eddie, all of Dyersburg and Rebecca Lee Tippit and husband, Allen, of Ridgely; three sisters, Laura Bingham, Joy Real and Linda Clark; three brothers, Phillip Tidwell, James Tidwell and Bruce Morgan; ten grandchildren, Louis Waterbury, BrookeLynn Robbins, J.T. Beasley, Bryce Beasley, Jessica Gardner, Kelly Gardner, Courtney Cauthen, Caitlin Crocker, Katherine Tippit and Sara Beth Tippit; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Richardson and Daniel Grogan; and her parents, Albert and Peggy Keathley Corum.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Abundant Life Fellowship, Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.
