Peggy Sue Burns Davis, 75, of Finley, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Peggy was born on January 1, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Elmer and Eula Anderson Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, TN.

The Davis Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Burless Davis of Finley, TN; a son, Ricky Davis and wife, Margaret, of Ridgely, TN; a son-in-law, Kenneth "Bubba" Bryant of Finley, TN; a sister, Sandra Jones of Dyersburg, TN; a grandson, Brett Tyler Davis and wife, Cadie, of Dyersburg, TN; five step-grandchildren, Justin Ozment of Trimble, TN, Candy Ozment of Cordova, TN, Johnathan Bryant of Newbern, TN, Samantha Bryant and Shelia Jernigan, both of Dyersburg, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey Davis and Jimmy Davis, both of Dyersburg, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Elaine Bryant; a sister, Barbara Smith; and four brothers, James "Sprig" Burns, William "Parse" Burns, Lewis "Doc" Burns and Paul Burns.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bryant, Johnathan Bryant, Justin Ozment, Tommy Russell, Hunter Russell and Joey Simpson.
