Pearl Elaine King, 88, of Hornbeak, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was a retired comptometer operator for Omaha Public Power District and a member of First United Methodist Church in Ridgely.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Myrick officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Callens of Hornbeak; three sisters, Darlene Bjornsen of California, Wini Toman of Utah and Mary Talbot of South Dakota; three grandchildren, Tom Callens, Michael Callens and Joe Callens; and four great-grandchildren, Alex Hawthorne, Wesley Callens, Savanna Callens and Elias Callens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen King; and her parents, Harold, Sr. and Magda Jacobsen Van Ness.
Pallbearers will be Tom Callens, Joe Callens, Michael Callens, Wesley Callens, David Callens and Brad Perkins.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
