Pauline Faye Cook, 71, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a seamstress and a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Tiptonville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Carr, the Rev. Johnny Chessor and the Rev. Kenny Chessor officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, William T. "Bill" Cook; a son, Danny Cook and wife, Nanette, of Tiptonville; four sisters, Peggy Smyth and Frances Leake and husband, George, all of Minnick, Catherine Chessor and husband, Johnny, of Union City and Kay Faulkner and husband, Dave, of Trimble; a brother, Charles Ray Hood and wife, Donna, of Trimble; and two grandchildren, Drew Cook and Allison Cook, both of Tiptonville.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Vaughn, Glen Stover, Donnie Noles, Ronnie Craddock, Shawn Cook, Dwayne Haggard, Jerry "Butch" Smyth, George Leake, Davey Faulkner and Shane Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Williams, Clifton Darnell, David Gooch, James Robert Hood Jr., Edward Wallace, Danny Armstrong, Jerry Sherrell, Henry Sanders and James Wallace.
