Paul Augusta Sutton, 79, of Munford, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Union City.
He was a retired Printer and State Park Ranger for the Tennessee Department of Conservation, member of First Baptist Church in Millington. He was a member of Harmony Lodge 184 and member of Millington Lodge 671, where he was past master of both lodges and a member of Memphis Scottish Rite 32nd Degree.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Aubrey Neal officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
The family and friends will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 1-3 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Karin Sutton of Munford; two daughters, Ramona Gooch of North Carolina and Tammy Baldwin and husband, Carl, of Hornbeak; a sister, Betty Smith of Jackson; six grandchildren, B.J. Gooch, Bradley Gooch, Brandon Baldwin, Ashley Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin and Leah Baldwin; and five great-grandchildren, Hayden Gooch, Garrett Gooch, Mattie Gooch, Tegan Baldwin and Eli Baldwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence Jarred Sutton; and a brother, Wayne Sutton.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Baldwin, Ron Clark, Bradley Gooch, B.J. Gooch, Stephen Baldwin and Carl Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tiptonville Masonic Lodge.
