Paul "Bud" McPherson, 88, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired carpenter, member of Independent Free Holiness Church and an U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jewline McPherson of Dyersburg; two daughters, Sharron Schlimme and husband, Warren, of Jefferson City, MO. and Kim Rundles and husband, Eddie, of Bells; a son, Tommy Flynn McPherson and wife, Renate, of Frankfurt, Germany; a sister, Lillian Parrish of Newbern; nine grandchildren, Lynn McPherson, Natja McPherson, Margaret McPherson, Brian Hall, Micah McPherson, Kevin McPherson, Courtney Hall, Timothy Seratt and Sabrina Gaona; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Lynn McPherson; and his parents, Robert and Pherba Simpson McPherson.
Pallbearers will be Lanny Vestal, Timmy Vestal, Ray Vestal, Wayne Vestal, Terry Vestal and Skylar McPherson. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Hall and Micah McPherson.
