Paul Edward Cranford, 72, of Ridgely, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Cranford was a retired farm and agricultural chemical salesman. He was active with the Ridgely Senior Citizens and was an avid duck hunter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Gene Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.
The Cranford Family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Linda "Melinda" Cranford of Ridgely; three daughters, Paula Gordon and husband, David, of Obion, Darla Nale and husband, Jeff, of Dyersburg and Carla Hopper and husband, Mike, of Hornbeak; a son, James Edward Cranford of Tiptonville; two brothers, Dale Cranford of Obion and Larry Cranford of Troy; seven grandchildren, Erica Nale Owenby and husband, Michael, Petty Officer Second Class Greg Nale of the U.S. Navy, Sergeant Adam Nale of the U.S. Army, Alyssa Hopper, Hadeline Blurton Jacobs and husband, Ethan, Alexandria Gordon and James Paul "J.P." Cranford; and a great-grandson, Drake Hendrix.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Opal Kirk Cranford.
Pallbearers will be Erica Nale Owenby, Greg Nale, Hadeline Blurton Jacobs, Ethan Jacobs, Rodney Johnson, James Paul Cranford, Jeff Cranford and Clay McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ridgely Senior Citizens Center, Sonny Mayo, Alexandria Gordon, Alyssa Hopper, Adam Nale and Steve Nichols.
