Patsy Elaine Ray's Obituary
Patsy Elaine Ray, 67, of Cordova, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN.
She was born on March 5, 1949 in Dyer County, TN to the late Willie Randolph Johnson and the late Vivian Marie Moser Boshears Johnson. Patsy was a retired CNA for Wesley Nursing Home. She was also a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Dennis "D.J." Moody and wife, Chelsie, of Cordova; two brothers, Larry Johnson and wife, Lorell, of Newbern and Donnie Johnson of Dyersburg; four nieces, Lisa Stephenson, and Angie Meadows, both of Dyersburg and Linda Patton of Newbern and Susie Collier; nephews, Randy Johnson of Dyersburg and Jeff Johnson; and five grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Buddy" Ray; and a brother, Jerry Gene Johnson.
