Patsy Kirby Hunter, age 69, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on July 18, 1956, she was the beloved daughter of the late Raylian and Maxine Goodwin Kirby. She was a former employee of Advantage Manufacturing and Dyersburg Fabrics. Patsy was a devoted fan of Alan Jackson and cherished her role as a dog mom to several Pomeranians throughout her years.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery with Mr. J.R. Prater officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sisters, Linda Craig of Newbern, TN and Sara Kirby of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Danny Kirby of Dyersburg, TN; her K-9 companion, Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gary Paul Hunter; and a brother, David Kirby.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Craig, Lynn Parker, Craig Parker, Cordale Robertson and Paul Jones.
