Patsy F. Dean, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on June 22, 1940 in Boothspoint, TN, to the late Herbert Lee Moore and the late Janie Catherine Carroll Moore. Patsy was a homemaker and a former member of Springhill Baptist Church.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.

Survivors include her eight children, Perry "Pee Wee" Cox (Debra) of Friendship, Pam Tinkle (Dickey) of Dyersburg, Vicky Anderson of Dyersburg, Tony Bailey of Dyersburg, Connie Dean Snyder (Roger) of Newbern, Donna Dean Brewer of Dyersburg, William Asa "Butch" Dean III (Linda) of Dyersburg and Sherry Dean Peters (Denton) of Murfreesboro; a sister, Cherry Harrison (Herchel) of Trenton; a brother, Gary Moore (Annette) of Big Sandy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Asa "Bill" Dean, Jr.; and a sister, Ann Norman.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Franks, Jason Sweat, Billy Tinkle, Kelly Brown, Thomas Moore and Keith Harrison. Honorary pallbearer will be Logan Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
