Patricia Lynn Parker, 78, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on September 24, 1939, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Aubrey Wood and the late Agnes Stafford Wood. Patricia was retired from Piggly Wiggly as the deli and bakery manager and was a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved her grandchildren.

Services will be at 12 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her three sons, Robert Bryan Jowers (Judy) of Cooter, MO, Thomas Gwyn Jowers (Cassie) of Jonesboro, AR and Michael Scott Jowers (Lisa) of Blytheville, AR; a sister, Janiece Wood Carpenter (John) of Gleason; a brother, Aubrey Wood, Jr. (Wanda) of Ridgely; six grandchildren, Jamie Jones, Chrissy Griffith, Michael Harper, Matthew Jowers, Hunter Jowers and Anna Claire Jowers; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Betty Wheeler of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Parker; and a grandson, Adam Jowers.

Pallbearers will be David Wray, Trey Wood, Matthew Jowers, Hunter Jowers and Ty Wray.
