Patricia Joann Nance, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Patricia was born on April 20, 1942, in Belleville, IL, to the late Cyril and Mary Charotte Vorheese Edmonds. She was a retired school teacher with the State of Tennessee at Northwest Correctional Complex and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville. Patricia proudly served her country in the United States Navy.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Lake Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Troutman officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her sister, Roberta Sue Nanney of Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Nance; and her son, Billy Jack Nance, Jr.
