O.V. Fowler, Sr., 86, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Reelfoot Manor.

O.V. was born on July 24, 1933, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Obie and Marie Farmer Fowler. He was the owner of Fowler's Mini-Mart and Oil Company and Fowler's Excavating. O.V. was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Ridgely with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Fowler Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Abundant Life Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Morehead Fowler of Tiptonville, TN; a daughter, Vickie Shaw of Ridgely, TN; two sons, O.V. Fowler, Jr. of Ridgely, TN and Kenny Fowler of Tiptonville, TN; a brother, Bobby Fowler of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren, Brandy Ward, Trey Shaw, Natalie Shaw, Mia Fowler, Will Fowler, Tyler Fowler and Ellen Fowler; and five great-grandchildren, Abby Mallory, Paxton Blackburn, Thomas Blackburn, Aiden Fowler and Kendall Shaw.

In addition to his parents, O.V. was preceded in death by a son, Mike Fowler; and a sister, Juanita Lovell.

Pallbearers will be Ray Goodgine, Mike Humphrey, Scott Price, Ronnie Kuykendal, Bob Williams and Jerry B. Hampton, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Price, Eldon Tittle, Denny Johnson, Kenny Hickman and Bob Shull.
