Otis Harrell Bishop's Obituary
Otis Harrell Bishop, 93, of Springville, formerly of Finley, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
He was the retired owner of Bishop's Grocery at Buchanan Resort and a Baptist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Hazlewood of Martin; three sons, Otis Harrell Bishop Jr. and Bobby Wayne Bishop, both of Lemont, Ill., and Terry Allen Bishop of Westchester, Ill.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Welch Bishop; and his parents, Albert and Vicie Bishop.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hazlewood, Grady D. Welch, Thomas Bishop, Bobby Bishop, Brian Bishop and Brad Bishop.
