Ophelia Marie Smith, 90, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence.

She was a retired restaurant owner and a member of Ridgely Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgely Church of Christ with Bro. Jeff O'Dell and the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Survivors include her three daughters, Martha Heathcott of Dyersburg, Janice Spence and Joyce Marvin, both of Tiptonville; two sons, Jimmy Jowers of Dyersburg and William C. "Dub" Smith of Huntingdon; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cledis Leonard Smith; three daughters, Barbara Gray, Beulah Dean and May Belle Smith; a son, Wesley Smith; her parents, James "Jim" and Susan "Susie" King Stephens; three brothers, Linton Lee Stephens, Ed Stephens and Fred Stephens; two grandchildren, Tony Gunn and Kevin Parker; and a great-grandson, Brandon Kyle Smith.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Spence, Dickson Heathcott, Jack Flowers, Kelly Tippit, Scott Price and Leonard York.
