Opal Blalock's Obituary
Opal Blalock, 89, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Prospect Church of Jesus Christ.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Blake Barber officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Roma Fortner and husband, Mike, of Stone Mountain, GA; two sons, Eddie Blalock of Dyersburg and Lanny Blalock and wife, Kathy, of Clinton, LA; a daughter-in-law, Mary Blalock of Dyersburg; a brother, Elbert Quinn of Newbern; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Blalock; a son, Tony Blalock; and her parents, Roy and Willie Hutchins Quinn.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Blalock, Darron Blalock, Anthony Blalock, A.J. Blalock, Jeremy Blalock and David Hollingsworth.
