Odis Hopper, 90, of Hornbeak, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Odis was born on August 30, 1929, in Push, TN, to the late Melvin "Red" Donald Hopper and the late Johnnie Lou Matheny Hopper. Mr. Odis was a retired farmer and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Keeton officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The Hopper Family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Jordan and husband, Marty, of Hornbeak, TN; a son, Mike Hopper and wife, Carla, of Hornbeak, TN; a brother, Wade Hopper and wife, Joann, of Hornbeak, TN; two sisters, Dorothy "Tince" Hopper and Jo Ruth Smith, both of Hornbeak, TN; three grandchildren, Ben Jordan, Bracey Tittle and Alyssa Hopper; and two great-grandchildren, Ariel Beasley and Naomi Tittle.

In addition to his parents, Odis was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Mae Hopper; and two sisters, Lois James and Imogene Davis.

Pallbearers will be Ben Jordan, Bracey Tittle, Justin Tittle, Alyssa Hopper, Ariel Beasley and David Beasley. Honorary pallbearer will be Naomi Tittle.
