Odie D. Staggs, 84, of Lenox, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

He was born on November 10, 1934, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, Clifton and Julia Warren Staggs. Odie was a retired custodian for Dyersburg High School and was a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Neely's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Staggs of Lenox, TN; a son, Kenny Staggs of Lenox, TN; six daughters, Lois Hensley and Kathy Berry (Greg), all of Dyersburg, TN, Theresa Staggs Quinley of Troy, TN, Sheila Davis (Tim), Sharon Pruett (Steve) and Brenda Chessor (Barney), all of Union City, TN; a sister, Gracie Wilson (Raymond) of Miston, TN; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Odie was preceded in death by his former wife, Patsy Staggs; two sisters, Nora Maude Staggs and Clodie Braddy; and three brothers, Clifford Staggs, J.L. Staggs and Donnie Staggs.

Pallbearers will be William Paul Campbell, Brad Studard, Ted Weaver, Billy Brady, Bud Wallace and Bob Veal. Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Reed.
