Odene Coker, 84, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Dyersburg.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Shelia Strieff of Ridgely and Gale Smith of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Karen Mallard of Murfreesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coker; her parents, Robert and Ora Crum James; a daughter, Sherry Smith; and a grandson, Robert "Rab" Moore.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Hatch, Leon Crum, Robert Jones, Terry Rudd and Jackie Kolwyck.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
