O C Ham, 79, of Oakfield, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his residence.

O C was born on May 12, 1942, in Finley, TN, to the late Hyder and Pauline Comer Ham. He was a Senior Field Service Engineer for Nortel Networks in Raleigh, N.C and was a member of Centerpoint Community Church in Monaca, PA. O C was an ITT Technical Institute Graduate and was a member of the National Guard in Lansing, MI. He enjoyed building computers and was a part time professor at vocational school in computer technology. O C taught leadership skills at the local high schools. He enjoyed doing all his own maintenance and home projects around the home and loved woodworking and automotive projects. O C received as associates degree from Muskegon Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors starting at 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include his three sons, Steven Ham (Shirley) of Sun City Center, FL, Michael Ham of Oakfield, TN and Brian Ham (Lori) of Mechanicsburg, PA; one brother, Elmer Ham (Effie) of Dyersburg, TN; one sister, Irene Eaton of McKenzie, TN; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, O C was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Hislop Ham; two brothers, Williard Ham and John Ham; three sisters, Martha Sue Mitchell, Rosie Sanders and Judy Lee; and a grandson, Johnnie Adcock.
