Norma Jean Moody's Obituary
Norma Jean Moody, 83 of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on February 18, 1934 in Dyer County, TN, to the late Elrey Gibson and the late Ida Hannah Gibson. Jean was retired owner and operator of Moody Supply. She attended Independent Free Holiness Church.
Services will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 3 pm in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Barbara Campbell and husband, Dashial, and Jennie Mancell and husband, Bill, all of Dyersburg; a son, Billy Bob Moody and wife, Janice, of Newbern; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Eulis Moody; a daughter, Debra Doedtman; a sister, Peggy Haynes; and four brothers, Bobby Gibson, Wayne Gibson, Nicky Gibson and Tommy Gibson.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Smith, Joe Smith, Steven Spires, Gerald Burns, Steve Webb and Jason Walton.
