Nona Kate Bush's Obituary
Nona Kate Bush, 81, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was retired following 48 years of employment at Dyersburg Fabrics, was a member of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg where she taught the 4-year-olds Sunday school class for more than 50 years and worked in the church kitchen for 14 years, and was an avid gardener.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Boston officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Rick Bush and wife, Rachel, of Dyersburg; a sister, Tincy Carson of Dyersburg; a brother, Roy J. Wooley of Columbia, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Michelle Bush of Nashville and Sam Bush of Dyersburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Bush; her parents, Roy and Fannie Wooley; three sisters, Irene Sipes, Sarah Thetford and Virginia Tweedy; and a brother, Daniel Wooley.
Pallbearers will be Bob Newbill, Frank Horner, Jerry Beasley, Johnnie Carson, Hunter Newbill, Paul Newbill and Cliff Tull.
