Nina Elizabeth McGuary, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2024 at AHC Healthcare.

Nina was born on September 4, 1946, in Crockett County, TN, to the late Carl River Jones and Lillie Pearl Ford Jones. She was retired from K-Mart and was a homemaker. She loved watching birds, doing cross stitch and working sudoku puzzles.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Archer's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her four grandchildren, Dana Dallas, Christie McGuary, Kimberly Pounders and Nate Smith, all of Dyersburg, TN; and five great-grandchildren, Natalie Sisk, Ilanna Sanchez, Lucas Pappas, Ryder Pounders and Madelynn Pounders.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Wesley McGuary; a son, Wesley Wayne McGuary; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn McGuire; a brother, Jackie Joe Jones; and a sister, Carolyn Ann Jones.

Pallbearers will be Nate Smith, Josh Pounders, Terry McGuire, Gerry McGuire and Lucas Pappas.
