Nicky Joe Sollis, age 76, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Dyer Nursing Home.

Nicky was born on October 30, 1947, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Quenton and Lavenia Hart Sollis. He was a former student at the Developmental Skills Center and was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. Nicky was a member of the Roy Rogers Club, where he had met Roy Rogers and Dale Evans numerous times in his life and he loved watching The Andy Griffith Show. He loved old cars and riding horses.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Tyler Neeley officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his aunt, Jean Alexander of Paris, TN; an uncle, Joe Hart of Louisville, KY; and numerous cousins.

The family of Nicky Sollis would like to give a special thanks to Dyer Nursing Home and Support Solutions for all the wonderful care they have given to him over the years.

The family requests that memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
