Nellie G. Weakley, 92, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker, member of First United Methodist Church, where she attended Community Bible Study and a member of Potts Price Sunday School Class and a member of Tuesday Bridge Club.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. David Russell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Weakley and wife, Susanne, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Tommie Sue Roach and husband Taylor and Christopher Weakley and wife Robyn, all of Nashville; and one great-grandson, Clayton Roach of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin T. "Toppy" Weakley; a daughter, Marilyn Merritt; and her parents, Harry and Maggie Woods George.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Latham, Billy Ozment, Jerry Mac Roberson, Ralph Richardson, Chip Finley, Christopher Weakley and Taylor Roach.
