Nell Davidson Milan, 97, of Milan, TN, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, TN.

Nell was born on November 10, 1922, in Pontotoc, MS, to the late Clarence and Sina Biffle Davidson. She was a retired hairdresser and was active in the Hairdresser Association. Nell owned her own shop and had many loyal customers who became her close friends. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Loren Stephens officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Collins (Deslonde) of Milan ,TN; one brother, Van Davidson of Highland, IL; a sister, Mattie Fae McNaughton of Alexandria, LA; one granddaughter, Kim Alexander of Martin, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Collins Alexander of Fenton, MO and Kendall Alexander of Martin, TN.

In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Milan; four brothers, Bill Davidson, James Davidson, Carl Davidson and Emmitt Davidson; three sisters, Vernon Medley, Bernice Dial and Ruth Andrews; and a grandchild, Andre Collins.

Pallbearers will be Deslonde Collins, Chet Alexander, Willie Ford and Collins Alexander.
