Neely Pritchett, 86, of Finley, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Neely was born on February 12, 1934, in Finley, TN, to the late, Ellis and Cora Michel Pritchett. He was actively engaged in farming for over 68 years and served in the Tennessee National Guard. Neely was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Scott Owen officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his two daughters, Patsye Thurmon and husband, Larry, of Clinton, TN and Cyndi Whedon and husband, Greg, of Ashland City, TN; a son, Joey Pritchett and wife, Candi, of Finley, TN; a sister who passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020, Glenda Galbreath of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren, Lesli Todd and husband, T.J., Jenni Hassell and husband, Timothy, Brandon Thurmon and wife, Saneta, Michael Thurmon and wife, Kelley, Nate Dodd, Kyle Dodd and Theresa Whedon; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Neely was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ann Mount Pritchett.

Pallbearers will be Brad Studard, Lance Davison, Danny Pritchett, Paul Finley, George Hollingsworth and Kim Sellers.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
