Nathan Wade Mancell, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on February 3, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois.

Nathan was a self-employed construction worker who built a life through hard work and determination. A true jack of all trades, he was known as someone who could take on many kinds of work with skill and resourcefulness. He was also a man who felt most at home outdoors. He loved to hunt, was an avid fisherman, and embraced life as an outdoorsman. A country boy at heart, Nathan enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was happiest when sharing laughter and good times with those around him.

He will be remembered not only for his hardworking spirit, but also for the joy he brought to others. Nathan loved to laugh and had a way of making life a little lighter for the people who knew him. His presence, his personality, and the memories he created with family and friends will remain cherished.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Nathan is survived by his son, Bradley Mancell; his three daughters, Misty Harrison, Gracie White, and Amarah Mancell; and his brother, Bill Mancell and wife, Jennie. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Aleigh Jordan and Brea Singleton, who were part of the family circle he held dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Mancell, Sr. and Betty Jo Worley Mancell.

May Nathan Wade Mancell be remembered with love for his hardworking hands, his generous spirit, and the laughter and warmth he shared throughout his life.
