Nancy Laverne Owens Fine, 79, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Greensboro, NC.

She was a hard worker all of her life.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Fine and the Rev. Shaun Fine officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Cloverdale, TN.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her sister, Lottie Cunningham of Plymouth, MI; two brothers, Lloyd Owens(Rosalee)of Plymouth, MI and Lawrence "Bill" Owens (Janelle) of Lebanon, MO; two daughters, Deborah Johnson (George) of Plymouth, MI and Beverly Grenier (Bob) of Greensboro, NC; three sons, Rev. Richard T. Fine (Ruth) of Pueblo, CO, Rev. John Fine (Reba) of Dyersburg and Douglas Bancroft (Stacy) of Mesquite, TX; her friend, David Butler of Millsfield; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William T. Fine; a daughter, Nancy Gail Hill; her parents, Phonzo and Minnie Hammett Owens; her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Earl Sanford; six brothers, Lonnie Owens, Lexie Owens, Lofton Owens, Lindo Owens, Lewis Owens and Luther "Jack" Owens; and a brother-in-law, Ray Cunningham.

Pallbearers will be Shane Hill, Robert Fine, Aaron Booth, Jeremy Johnson, D Wright and John Duren.
